Amenities

Nourishment is a core pillar at Wild Rice Retreat, and they’ve crafted a welcoming dining experience at Root, their onsite kitchen, to fuel the soul. Guided by a holistic, Ayurvedic-inspired approach, they focus on creating meals with whole foods, placing a strong emphasis on fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices to keep guests feeling energized and satisfied.

The Sanctuary includes the Sauna Haus and Rain Room, offering guests the opportunity to take in wooded views from the serenity of a sprawling cedar sauna, as well as indulge in relaxation and rain shower. Guests are also encouraged to gather on the patio and enjoy the fire pit’s warmth.

Follow the trails that wind throughout the Wild Rice property, as well as line the brownstone cliffs that peer over Lake Superior and out to Madeline Island. Pause to breathe in the peace that surrounds, as well appreciate the unforgettable sights of the Midwest.
